Privacy notice
Everything here concerns the quote form on sellhvacdata.com: the personal details it takes, where they go and how to get them erased. Company records are never collected through it. Last revised 7 November 2026.
Sell HVAC Data earns its money from referral fees: a buyer you sign with after our introduction may pay us one.
The business behind Sell HVAC Data
Sell HVAC Data (sellhvacdata.com) is run by Joe Trewick trading as Grub Leads, which is responsible for your personal data. You can contact us at support@grubleads.com.
Sell HVAC Data is a matching service. We do not buy data. We put HVAC companies in touch with AI data buyers, and when a contractor we introduced signs, that buyer may pay us for the referral. Company records never come to us.
Details the quote form takes
When you use the quote form we collect:
- your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code
- the answers you give about your company, such as headcount, software, years of records and timing
- your IP address, the page you sent the form from, and the wording you agreed to
The reason we hold them
Your answers let us work out which buyers’ entry rules your company clears. We rely on your consent, which you give when you send the form.
Next we email you the names of any buyers that match. A buyer receives your details only after you have chosen it. If no buyer fits, we tell you and delete your request.
If you stop part way through the form, we keep what you entered so far for the same purpose, and delete it if the request is not completed.
We do not send you marketing, and we do not sell your details to anyone else.
Who else gets them
Your details go to:
- the buyer we name to you, and only after you agree
- the companies that host this website and store our records for us, under contracts that protect your data
Keeping and deleting
We keep your name, phone number, email address and IP address for 12 months, then delete them. We keep a record of the request without those details, so we can count how many requests the site receives.
Asking us to change or delete things
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will reply within 45 days.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first at support@grubleads.com.
Cookies and analytics
We count visits with a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies or identify you. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Opting out under US state laws
Since a buyer can pay us after an introduction, several state privacy statutes call it a "sale" when your contact details go to that buyer. One email stops it (the link to our opt-out page sits below); each request is logged and dated the day we honor it.
Some states give you further rights: a copy of what we hold on you, corrections, erasure. Using them will not change how we treat you. Your answers are never used to target advertising, and we do not knowingly take details from children under 16.
The log of what you agreed to
Someone who believes a call or text broke US telemarketing law has years to bring a claim. We therefore hold the consent record for five years, made up of your phone number, when you agreed, your IP address, which page you used and the exact wording beside the button. Name and email address, though, are deleted on the normal schedule described above.
To stop any sale or sharing of your details, the opt-out page explains the single email it takes.
